#SPEAKER 1# Gavin Mendel-Gleason, CTO DataChemist
Title: The Victors will be Declarative - Exploring the Graph Query Language of the Future

About the Speaker: Gavin Mendel-Gleason is a doctor of computer science, specialising in type theory and formal methods. He has worked in industry in big-data modelling, search and query optimisation and in both supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. His passion is creating a synthesis of logical techniques for knowledge representation and reasoning with modern machine learning techniques to create the database of the future. Gavin is currently the Chief Technology Officer at DataChemist.

With over 25 years in the construction industry working in design and information management he is passionate in realising the business benefit structured data and BIM can deliver through its implementation at scale, across the housing sector.
