Technical lead on a number of projects and three high profile services and databases relating to metadata management, semantic alignment and data integration, including the GWAS Catalog (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas), Biosamples database (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/biosamples) and the Ontology Lookup Service (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols).
Lead a team of around 10 developers and bioinformaticians to ensure delivery of key resources and ontologies for the EBI, and coordinate several national and international development projects. Senior programmer and architect on several web applications and services using industry standard techniques to maximise delivery with minimum resources.
